A Report On The Program of Prak Sharadiya Utsav
A meeting regarding the program of Prak Sharadiya Utsav was held in the Principal''s room on 10.09.2019 at 3 p.m. There it was resolved unanimously (as per the direction of the Hon''ble President of the G.B.) that prak-sharadiya utsav will be held on 27.9.2019 in the Seminar Room at 2 p.m. and work was distributed accordingly to the appropriate persons to make it a grand success.
On 27.9.2019, the Hon''ble President of the G.B. of our college, Dr. Sudipto Roy and Vice Principal Dr. Ramesh Kar inaugurated the program by lightning the lamp. The program kicked off with recitation of Vedic Chants by Dr. Chinmoy Mishra followed by the Welcome Address and Inaugural Address delivered by the Vice Principal and the Hon''ble President of the G.B. of the college respectively. They were welcomed with a bouquet and a small clay idol of Goddess Durga, made by a student of Bengali Hons. The participating students performed very well under the able guidance of Sri Anirban Dey ( a professional choreographer cum dancer). Everyone was delighted to see the program. The program ended with a vote of thanks.
A Report On The Program of Basanta Utsav, 2020
In a staff meeting dated 29.1.20 in the Principal''s room in the presence of Hon''ble President of the G. B. and Vice Principal of the college it was unanimously decided that Basanta Utsav will be celebrated in our college premises on 7th February, 2020 at 6 p.m. At the same time, it was decided that a drama will be staged by the college staff which included Vice Principal and Bursar of our college. Accordingly, work was distributed to the suitable persons among the staff to make it a grand success.
The drama "Dontorongo" was staged on 6th February, 2020 under the direction of Sri Anal Chakraborty which was enjoyed by all. Besides, the students presented a very colourful dance program under the guidance of Sri Anirban Dey, a professional choreographer.
The program ended with a vote of thanks.
A Report On The Observance of Rabindra Jayanti
Rabindra Jayanti was observed on 8th May, 2020 with Tagore'' poems and songs by the students and staff.
Basonto Utsav 2021'' (Online due to pandemic situation)
Due to COVID 19 the students could not attend the college physically . so no stage peformance is possible this year . so the cultural subcommittee is compelled to do it online. The students and staff participated this program from home.

EXTENSION ACTIVITIES
The institution, organizes different extensional activities to promote institution-neighbourhood-community network and to instilla sense responsibility among students and staff towards the environment and society. It seeks to spread happiness to the listless souls through visits to different homes for the destitute with a bouquet of cultural programme and token gifts. It endeavours to empower and motivate the challenged students by organising workshops for them.Thus the college keeps its commitment for a greener, safer and better tomorrow.
Some of the extensional activities organized by the institute are:
1. Rally on Environmental Awareness and Tree Plantationwith N.S.S. & N.C.C. units of the college on 5.6.2014.
2. Seminar on Environmental Consciousnessby Dr. Binay Kumar Dutta, the chairman, West Bengal Pollution Control Board & environmental activist Prof. Rabin Majumdar on 9.6.2014.
3. Counselling & Motivational Camp for Differently Abled Students in collaboration with the Centre for Counselling Services and Studies in Self Development, Jadavpur University, Kolkata on 28.2.2015.
4. Visit to Old Age Home – Uttamanda Matri Ashram, Hatirkul, Konnagar, Hooghly on 7.3.2015.
5. Visit toCheshire Home, Seramporea home for destitute and differently abled on 14.5.2015.
6. Visit to Old Age Home – Uttamanda Matri Ashram, Hatirkul, Konnagar, Hooghly on 13.5.2017.
